NextDrawLogic was founded in 2026 by a small group of Johannesburg-based data enthusiasts who shared a common frustration: South African lottery players had access to draw results, but almost nothing in the way of honest, well-researched, freely available analysis.

We are not a betting company. We do not sell tickets. We are not sponsored by Ithuba Holdings or the National Lottery Commission. We are an independent editorial and data platform — similar in principle to a sports statistics site, except our subject is the South African National Lottery.

Our team includes a data journalist, a software developer, a lottery statistician, and a personal finance writer. Between us, we have analysed tens of thousands of South African lottery draws, written comprehensive guides on everything from lottery tax rules to the biggest jackpots ever paid in SA history, and built tools that hundreds of South African players use every draw day.

💡 Why We Built NextDrawLogic

The original idea came from a simple problem Derrick encountered in early 2026: he had a stack of unchecked lottery tickets going back several months and no easy way to verify them all at once. Every existing tool required checking each draw individually. It was slow, error-prone, and frustrating.

That frustration became our proprietary 100-Draw Ticket Scanner — which lets players cross-reference their numbers against months of historical draw data in a single check. From there, Zanele joined to build out the editorial side, and NextDrawLogic grew into the full platform it is today.

What started as a personal utility has become South Africa's most comprehensive free lottery analysis hub, covering all six Ithuba games with real-time results, statistical tools, and plain-language guides that actually help players make more informed decisions.

Despite this, we always recommend players verify winning tickets with an official Ithuba retailer or through the official Ithuba app for any prize claim. For legal purposes, the official Ithuba result is the definitive record.
