SA PowerBall Numbers Generator

Use this free SA PowerBall numbers generator to build a complete 5/50 + 1/20 line in one tap. By default it generates from the most common numbers in the last 100 official draws, but you can switch to a fully random Quick Pick or other modes. This is shared for interest and entertainment only — every draw is independent and random, so no number is "due" and all combinations have an equal chance.

⚡ Quick Answer

How does the SA PowerBall numbers generator work?

The generator below builds a full PowerBall line — 5 main balls (1–50) plus 1 PowerBall (1–20). In its default mode it draws from the most common numbers of the last 100 official draws: main balls 24, 13, 17, 10, 16 and PowerBall 6. Switch the dropdown for random, least-common or balanced lines. These are historical statistics only — every number has an equal chance in the next draw.

Generator Modes Explained

The dropdown lets you decide how the line is built. It's important to understand that none of these modes change your odds — every main number has the same 1-in-50 chance per ball and every PowerBall has the same 1-in-20 chance in every single draw. The modes simply change which pool the numbers are sampled from so your picks feel more deliberate:

  • Most Common Numbers (default): Samples five main balls from the most frequently drawn numbers in the last 100 draws, plus one of the most common PowerBalls. Frequent appearances are normal short-term variation, not a sign a number is "luckier".
  • Mix — Common + Rare + Random: Blends the most common, least common and a fully random number for a varied line.
  • Least Common Numbers: Builds from the numbers drawn least often recently. A "cold" number is not "due" — past draws never influence the next one.
  • Balanced Spread / Quick Pick: "Balanced" spreads picks evenly across the 1–50 range; "Quick Pick" is purely random, exactly like the official terminal.

Whichever mode you choose — common, rare, balanced or random — the result is decided entirely by chance. Treat it as entertainment and set a budget before you play.

How the SA PowerBall Numbers Are Drawn

The SA PowerBall draw takes place every Tuesday and Friday at 21:00 SAST. Ithuba uses two separate mechanical draw machines. First, 5 main balls are drawn from the first machine containing balls numbered 1 to 50. Then, a single Bonus PowerBall is drawn from a second, smaller machine containing balls numbered 1 to 20.

People Also Ask (FAQ)

How does the SA PowerBall numbers generator work?

It builds a full 5/50 + 1/20 PowerBall line for you. In the default "Most Common" mode it samples from the numbers drawn most often in our real-time database of the last 100 draws — currently main numbers 24, 13, 17, 10, 16 and PowerBall 6. You can switch to random, least-common or balanced modes at any time.

What are the most common SA PowerBall numbers?

Based on the last 100 official draws, the most common main numbers are 24, 13, 17, 10, 16, and the most common PowerBall is 6. The least common main numbers are 34, 38, 44, 36, 7. These figures recalculate after every draw.

Does the generator improve my chances of winning?

No. No generator, system or pattern can change the odds or guarantee a win — every PowerBall draw is an independent, random event. The most-common-numbers feature is provided purely for interest and entertainment, never as a prediction of what will be drawn.

Are PowerBall rules different from Lotto?

Yes. While standard Lotto uses a 6/52 matrix (6 balls from one machine), PowerBall uses a 5/50 + 1/20 matrix. This means you select numbers from two completely different sets, making the jackpot harder to win but often much larger.

Can I use this generator for PowerBall Plus?

PowerBall Plus is the optional add-on draw played with the same 5/50 + 1/20 format on the same Tuesday and Friday nights, so any line you generate here is valid for it too. However, it's a completely separate draw with its own results, so its most/least common numbers differ — see our dedicated PowerBall Plus numbers page for that data.

How often is this PowerBall data updated?

The frequency analysis recalculates automatically from our database after every official Tuesday and Friday draw, always using the most recent 100 results. The last draw included here was on 23 June 2026.
