Understanding the SA Lotto Plus 1 Results History
Two separate machines. Two completely independent datasets.
Even though your Lotto Plus 1 numbers come from the same board as the main Lotto, the Plus 1 draw runs on its own physical ball machine with a separate drum of 52 balls. The historical number frequencies shown in this archive are unique to Plus 1 — studying the main Lotto's hot numbers will not tell you anything meaningful about the Plus 1 draw.
Why the Lotto Plus 1 Archive Exists Separately
When Ithuba National Lottery runs the Wednesday and Saturday draws, three independent machines operate in sequence: the main Lotto, then Lotto Plus 1, then Lotto Plus 2. Each game uses its own equipment and produces its own results. Pooling their historical data would be statistically meaningless — the frequency patterns for a number like 17 in Plus 1 have nothing to do with how often 17 appears in the main game.
This archive maintains a clean, game-specific record for Plus 1 alone. Every row in the table above represents a single, physically independent draw event. This separation is what makes the frequency analysis on our Hot & Cold Numbers page meaningful.
What the 6/52 Format Means for Historical Analysis
Lotto Plus 1 draws six balls from a pool of 52, plus a separate Bonus Ball — also from the 52-ball pool. The total number of possible combinations is approximately 20.4 million. Because the pool is 52 rather than the 49 used in some other national lotteries, individual numbers repeat slightly more often per draw — making the historical record particularly rich for frequency-based analysis after a few hundred draws.
How to Use This Results Archive Effectively
-
Verify an old ticket
Enter the exact draw date in the date filter above and press Search. Locate the draw in the table, then click its "View Results" button for the full prize division breakdown. Check your six numbers — and don't forget the Bonus Ball for Division 2. Remember the 365-day claim window.
-
Track jackpot rollover streaks
Draws labelled "Rollover" in the Division 1 column had no jackpot winner. Browse the archive chronologically to identify how many consecutive rollovers occurred before a jackpot was won — useful context before buying a ticket ahead of a large accumulated pot.
-
Build a historical frequency dataset
Use the date filter to export specific date ranges for analysis, or use our dedicated Hot & Cold Numbers tool, which has already computed full frequency tables, pair co-occurrence, and recency data across the entire archive.
-
Cross-reference with AI predictions
Our Lotto Plus 1 prediction tool draws on this same historical dataset to generate statistically weighted number suggestions. Use the archive to understand the underlying frequency data that informs each suggestion.
